Well, it's a mailing list that is never on-topic. The only common theme is that most members use MacOSX.

War is Natures way of controlling population, whether we are conscious
of it or not. Too many <insert life form> in one place? Conflicts
start... things die... balance is restored.
It is repeated over and over again. The fact that humans arrogantly
attach politics, or any other higher function to it, is laughable and
depressing.
We may have cooler toys now, but we are no different than monkeys
sitting in trees flinging poo at each other.
