Right.    A few years ago the Wall Street Journal carried a
semi-humourous article on Glasgow (or Glasgae if you prefer)
being the heart attack capital of the world, due to the
unbelievably bad diet, which including deep-fried pizza.
Not in batter, though --- the pizza with its various toppings
(presumably including vast amounts of cheese) is deep-fried
in the same cauldron used for the fish, chicken, and Mars
Bars . . .
