Interesting, since the very thing that we hope to use to protect us,
the missile shield, is the very thing that was opposed by the
Democratic congress as far back as Reagan.

Actually, under his watch, we turned up the fact that the DPRK was
totally ignoring the documents signed under the Clinton Admin,
promising that the DPRK would not pursue
Nukes. Also, under his watch, instead of taking unilateral action,
he went to the UN and to the 6 nation talks.

June 13, 1995..

Here is the whole framework. <http://www.thenti.com/e_research/

20agreement%22>

We agreed to give them two light water reactors IF they agreed to
freeze their Nuke program.

Begs the question. Just what exactly did we accomplish in 1995 with
this agreement.

Also, Why didn't we know they were cheating between the signing in
1995 and 2000.

5 years! Was our intelligence that bad? Was Clinton not looking
after our national security?
After all he had a complete plan to go get UNL right? So what.. He
focused on UBL and let the DPRK go ahead a work on Nukes without
checking up on them?

It takes a fucking boat load of gaul to blame Bush for this one.

I love it when people want it both ways. Either he simply attacks
as squashes the threats that are developing, causing great gnashing
of teeth and rending of hair
by all those that oppose any sort of military action without everyone
in the UN agreeing (fat chance) OR he attempts to use diplomacy.
involve the UN and other interested nations in negotiating with the
likes of the DPRK and when that doesn't work (big surprise, they lied
AGAIN ) he is castigated as a failure for "allowing" the threat to
develop.

Pretty rich.

Next thing you know, people will be bitching about us nuking the
DPRK.. ( just kidding)

=c=
