	In the think the answer in the medium term is clearly no.
	There are many more of them. Many more of them have direct 
experience with the US as the enemy, and real experience with things 
like bombing US troops.
	Just because they are all busy in foreign countries NOW 
(which seems to be the core of your argument) is like arguing that 
the US was safe from terrorism in 2000 because Al Qaeda attacks were 
in Afghanistan and the Sudan etc.

	FWIW I don't have a problem with military response. The 
military response in Afghanistan was reasonable policy. And then all 
the resources needed to finish the job and actually reduce the risk 
of Islamist global terrorism long term were diverted to Iraq, were 
they are now effectively increasing the risk of Islamist global 
terrorism long term.
