	A friends father lives in Thailand, and 
she visits there frequently, and she said it was 
remarkably relaxed and bloodless. She said the 
military really seems oppposed to coups, and only 
had a military coup because they felt the prime 
minister was trying to achieve his own version of 
a coup against parliament, and seems quite 
committed to returning to democracy as quickly as 
possible. Really fairly painless as these things 
go.
