I don't think 'Staying The Course" is an option any longer either.

The problem is that we now have a "Tiger by the Tail".   The only  
thing worse
than what is going on now is what would happen if we leave.

There are no good answers, just bad and worse.

I think the message delivered to their PM recently was pretty much   
"You have a very short window to get on your feet.."
