[Osx-nutters] Firewire and Cable/Ethernet?

Not only did I screw up my one admin user, but I allowed my OS X 10.4  
disks to get ruined, along with the restore disks that came with my  
eMac.  Ugh.  And now I have to share my internet connection with a  
family member.  So I have to reinstall or boot the OSX disk to enable  
the root user, which means I have to buy another copy of 10.4, and  
I'll still be missing all the other apps (Appleworks, iLife, etc)  
that came packaged with the eMac.  Bad day.
