Not a big fan of the bright aqua blobs either, but I the itunes bars
are...

Well, they remind me of working on a Solaris Sparc station aeons
ago. Or maybe some X windows monstrosity. I mean, they are flat and
dull and kinda fuzzy looking, somehow.

I guess I don't like the flatness of them, especially combined with
the dark dull color. Makes them look almost like they are recessed,
despite the left side highlight.

However, overall I like the look of the new iTunes. I think the side
bar are with the playlists is quite good and has clear divisions. I
love the new "Downloads" playlist that comes up, and the new iPod
view is excellent.

I don't get the whining about the caps. I mean, who cares?

I did download a bunch of video stuff from iTunes (ABC had 3 2-part
eps up for free along with a 22 minute "catchup for DH, GA, and Lost
for free) and the 640x480 h.264 looks awesome on my flat panel. Now
if iSquint would get updated to the new resolution....
