You are right, these democrats subscribe to the DLC (Democratic  
Leadership Council) and are former Clinton-ites who with their  
guidance have lost the last two presidential elections, and given us  
picks like Leiberman for vp.

I hope they do become extinct.

The new democratic legislators coming into office are far more  
progressive but haven't the experience in foreign policy. So even  
with real plans and policies to battle terrorism they aren't given  
any weight and the MSM media continues to support the status quo and  
the republican frame of the debate. This frame, "the war on terror"  
is useless and is totally designed to grab power and nothing else. It  
is absurd to think one can war on a technique.

Be prepared for martial law and a suspension of rights. A terrorist  
strike may even take out all opposition leadership. America would  
have to continue with an authoritarian govt led by the current  
leadership.
