I don't get your point We are talking about the surge driving AQI
out of anbar now, not back then
There was some minor contact with AQ, but basically you are right.
Now, however it's like a freaking franchise operation anyone can
declare themselves to be
AQ.
What I do think Yon gets right is that if AQI is done in Anbar then
they have no place to go where the villagers won't rat them out.
It won't fix the secular stuff for sure, but if we are looking for a
way out, putting AQI on the margins is the first step.
