Its worth noting that use of HFCS is far more prevalent in
the US than anywhere else. Its a peculiarity of US corn industry
subsidisation.
Not that refined sugar is a great thing either, but the
original 'the US government should do something about obesity'
question come into a very different light if you believe that, as
many who care about the HFCS do, that the US government is currently
intervening to make things worse.
