One thing I thought I would bring up. NYC recently banned partially
hydrogenated oils from restaurants. The restaurants made some token
complaints then switched. Everyone seems OK with it. I'd say
intervention by the gov't is required in some cases. Also in NJ and
NY the government had made it a point of banning certain foods from
being served or sold by school cafeterias. That I have no problem
with personally. Now if there were attempts to have government
mandated meals daily that would be too much.
And yes HFCS is the devil ;)
