	I'd say its not just common, but actually essential. Plenty 
of areas of human endeavour are simply one in which scientific ideas 
of falsifiability are not terribly useful. Aesthetics is a hopefully 
non-controversial one, and at the most basic level is pretty 
important (if not for survival, at least for social functioning). The 
point open for discussion is whether spirituality is another.
