It just occurred to me that my reply was harsh.
If I didn't have a friend at the 455th there is no way I could have
known either. (the 455th is in Dayton about 150 miles from here)
From the publicly available info, there is nothing to lead you to
conclude anything differently than what you said.
It's not like they had a press release saying "we are borrowing stuff
from the 89th"
It's really common for units to loan equipment to others to balance the
load and they never talk about it publicly.
Sorry, I took umbrage at a statement that required some sort of inside
knowledge..
