Gold and Oil are the obvious plays to me.

Gold usually pops on the threat of turmoil.

(I don't own either at the moment..)  I have Real Estate Investment  
Trusts, Duke and  Altria and some dry bulk shipping (not wet like  
oil, for a reason..)

I might add a bit of gold say 5% or so as a hedge if I think things  
are actually going to get crazy.
