Interesting, I think I'll add that to my list of things to read.

Are you familiar with Ayaan Hirsi Ali?  Her book is called 'Infidel'.

She provides an insiders look as Islam but now she's an atheist.[1]

I suppose that alone marks her for death.

One of her points is that while there are moderate Muslims, Islam  
itself has a fatal flaw that makes it incompatible with democracy and  
it is that flaw
that makes conflict inevitable.

[1] For me, her stock goes up just having the guts and the intellect  
to make that leap.
